It seems to be the time of looking back on the season. Well, here is my review of season 38.
Of course, winning the World Tour with the Netherlands was a very rewarding performance. I thank the managers who helped me getting started (amongst others Twente Cycling Team and Drollevangers, but also the managers of the 45 riders I have used. Especially Tears and Saints for lending me the best Dutch rider Robin van Zijp and Cycling team FPS for keeping Dean Van Der Meer in good shape.
My own team is not yet ready to be the best of the world, but maybe someday we will get a a captain from our own Youth Academy that will bring us further.
We find ourselves in third Division and scored 650 points, with 9 results of which 3 wins. Although we scored 937 points as record in season 35, we did earn more money than ever before (148.000 $). Here are the scoring riders:

Colin Willems 92 points (1 win)

Sebas Kelderman 62 points
Marinus Zoetebier 6 points

Besides the wins, achievements to remember are the 3 results in classics and a fifth place in the GC of the Giro di Montelbano.
Next season we will continue training riders from our own youth, the first to be hired tomorrow is Jesse De Laat. No captain material, but hoping for a high AV of course.
